I am completely new to this i have a stock version 2.81 psp and i would like to know how to hack it. thanks for your help

By hack, I assume you mean downgrade to a hackable version? In that case you need to upgrade to 3.03 and then use an unpatched copy of GTA Liberty City Stories to downgrade. You will know it is unpatched when your psp says update v. 2.00 under game. Patched copies show a v. 2.60 update and will not work.
