psx/psp problem!

Ive tried to get ripped psx games on my psp.I am using firmware 3.03OE-C and have tried multiple ways to rip the ps1 games.The way i most commonly attempt this is by extracting the ISO and the converting it into an eboot file then putting it onto my memory stick along with a keys file.I put them all in the right place however,when i try to play the game it will come up the "this game has been converterd,look after children when playing this blah blah blah" and go to a black screen.It will then stay on the black screen and not load the game.If i click home i still get the software manuals,screen settings etc and can choose them,but the game will not load.please help!!
