Art released X-Flash v1 for PSP. X-Flash is a firmware tweaking & modding tool. It can delete the gameboot movie, remove the wave lines in the background like FlashMod, and copy font into the firmware. However, this release doesn't have the "restore to default" option, though Art said this build is very stable and well tested. Art will continue to polish the interface of the program like the XMB interface. You will be able to select fonts, sounds, version numbers and etc.

Hi,
This was never meant to be widespread on the internet because it can't remove the modifications it makes.
No version of X-Flash is reported to have bricked any PSPs yet, although I believe it will happen one
day. I am up to version 7c, but version 7 is found easily with Google with the terms "X-Flash PSP".
version 7 has more features, and can reverse the changes that it makes to firmware.
