ONScripter is a Free Software implementation of an interpreter for the NScripter audio and video creation utility, under GPL license. Based on Simple DirectMedia Layer it runs on a variety of platforms including Linux, Windows, Mac OS X in addition to video gaming consoles such as PSP and Dreamcast. This is commonly used for many anime style games. A few bugs were looked at and squashed in this release. If you can, check out the readme for more information (in Japanese).
