hi peeps ive managed to set Extreme link 1.5.5 /usb Host/IR 3.6 To allow me to use my Xbox 360 Wireless joypad To Play games on the psp ive got a wireless reciver for pc to use all my 360 wireless accessories on it so i thought they had to be a way to use the IR shell to use wireless gamepad instead of a wired one
Here is a vid i made
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkUzDIhUO4s
was a bit tricky holding cam and using the 360 pad lol but anyways its all fun

Update you can just use usbhostfs_PC_Win_1.5at and IR shell 3.6 providing you got a 360 pc receiver

Run configure_joypad.exe in usbhostfs_PC_Win_1.5at
Config your Wireless joypad then save it in the same folder as usbhosts
Then run usbhostfs_PC_Win_1.5at
Then run and link IR shell to pc via usbhost
when connected
Your joypad should work a treat

Also drop your iso folder with ur games in the same folder as usbhosts or visa-versa then select directory view in ir shell then usbhost0:/
all your games be there ready to play with your wireless pad

Pandora's Battery GUI Released

Mrdude has released a GUI (graphical user interface) for Pandora's battery. This puts all of the needed files on your memory stick, and does the required formatting automatically.
This still requires a homebrew-capable psp so that the normal battery can be turned into a Pandora battery.

Download Here. (it's BIG)

Pandora May be Working on PSP Slim(2000) ?

A scene member of another site has posted that he tried a pandora battery in a PSP Slim this weekend at PAX. Heres what he posted:

I was at PAX this weekend and they had the PSP slim tethered to some hired "promo girls". I was hoping to talk to some actual Sony reps, but there were none. Of course, after I realized that there were no Sony reps there, I nicely asked the girl if I could "try if my battery worked on the slim". I had Pandora's battery & the hacked memory card on me so I figured why the hell not. I had tested them on a normal PSP and they work like a charm... but on the slim it does not work (yet). I turned the unit off and took out the UMD, put in my memory stick, then Pandora. The battery tried to load something, but I just got a blank screen. Hopefully this just means that the battery works, but the memory stick needs a tweak, but I can't be sure... all I do know is that it won't work as it stands right now.
He was also asked if the Wlan/MS lights came on and replied with this:
I'm pretty sure they flashed a few times, but it was very busy and I was sort of trying to do it without drawing too much attention... you Americans have crazy laws (DMCA) so I wanted to get it done asap.
All very interesting eh, Dark Alex has said that if the light flashed then unsigned code ran.

Until we can get further confirmation then this is strictly a rumour and thus will not credit anyone untill verified. all very interesting though.

Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core 10th Anniversary Limited Ed (Game + Slim PSP Console)

Whilst checking the Asian Import Sites i found that PlayAsia are already doing preorders on the PSP Slim Consoles.

first heres the info from the site:

Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Final Fantasy VII with the Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core 10th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle. This bundle is limited to 77,777 units and comes with a copy of Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, a limited and numbered silver slim version PSP with special Crisis Core artwork, and a Buster Sword strap. For true Final Fantasy VII fans, this bundle represents the ultimate collectible!
The Compilation of Final Fantasy marches on with the release of Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core for the PSP! Unlike previous Compilation projects, Crisis Core is not a sequel to FFVII, and is instead a prequel, taking the player back in time to before Cloud Strife's epic adventures. Primarily a real-time action game with some menu-based commands, FFVII: Crisis Core casts players as Zack, former friend and comrade-in-arms of Cloud Strife. Also appearing the game are fan-favorite characters Aerith Gainsborough, Cloud Strife, and Sephiroth. Popular Final Fantasy artist Nomura Tetsuya provides the stunning and distinctive character designs.

Included in the 10th Anniversary Bundle along with the game is a silver slim version PSP adorned with specially-designed Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core artwork. This new, redesigned PSP features increased RAM, a video-out port, and is now lighter and slimmer than the previous PSP! This silver edition is also strictly limited, possessing a unique serial number. Rounding out the package is a Buster Sword strap, made to resemble Cloud's signature weapon from Final Fantasy VII.
The price is US$399.99 [~£198.28] but they wont ship to europe (im sick of that nugget)

Pandora Nand Restore Patch

From PSP News:

mrdude has released a patch for the Pandora memory stick:

Thanks to all those involved in the pandora files - you guys know who you are!

The pandora files are great but they have a slight bug in the restore.elf file in the kd folder, as they make a nand dump nicely but forget to call it a name so it can be restored without manually renaming the dump.

This patcher patches the restore.elf file in the kd folder - so that restoring nand files can be done without having to rename the dump.

Usage.

Either copy the Restore.elf Patcher.exe to kd and exectute it from the pc, or copy your restore.elf file to the same folder as Restore.elf Patcher.exe and execute. This will produce a 'fixed' elf file which you should replace in the kd folder.

Now you will be able to restore your nand dumps without messing around - or the need of a computer. This file also creates a backup so if you prefer the original file - you will have a backup.

NOTE: Remember to remove the battery & reboot the psp after you patch the file.

Download the patch here.

Off Topic: XBox 360 Premium Adds HDMI Output

In a practically non-publicized move, Microsoft has added HDMI output to its XBox 360 Premium system. I noticed the ad in Fry's this week... went to the store, and, sure enough, there it was. Now you can have HDMI without spending $479 for the Elite... you can buy the $349 system instead!

Make sure when purchasing you find the XBox that says "WITH HDMI OUTPUT" on the price tag... there's nothing about it on the box...

Best,

-Auri
