New PSone game: Jumping Flash

There's a new PSone game available for purchase on the PlayStation Store: Jumping Flash!, a first-person platformer that has you controlling a rabbit-like robot in a crazed world filled with evil animal-like creatures. With an arsenal of jumps and special weapons at hand, it's your quest to stop the evil scientist Baron Aloha.

The game costs $5.99 and still requires a PLAYSTATION 3.

Downloading free hi-res videos from P-TV

The PSP has been capable of displaying full-resolution (480x272) AVC videos for a long time now ... the problem? Unless you lived in Japan, you weren't able to take advantage of it. The P-TV service in Japan allows PSP owners to purchase copyright-protected video for the PSP, and unlike user-created videos, these files are provided in glorious, full resolution.

nixice from IGN PSP has created an incredibly thorough walkthrough [IGN Insider only] of the store for non-Japanese users, and has even created a temporary account for you to browse through the store. With instructions in hand, you'll be able to browse through P-TV's selection of free videos and experience for yourself full-res video that only Motion-JPEG and UMD Videos previously provided.

SNES Controller Mod for the PSP

In this video f00 f00 from Acidmods.com demonstates a Super Nintendo controller mod for the PSP. In the description he states that he does not use a PC in this setup. I'm not sure what the PS2 controller is doing in this, whether it's just sitting there or it's being used somehow, but F00 f00 does make a comment about a PS2 controller mod that's in the works. Check out the video for your self using the link below.
