SCEA CEO Looking Forward to Working with Peter Moore

While we wouldn't call them enemies, Microsoft video game execs and Sony's execs are certainly very competitive and they're not afraid to bash the competition. In fact, Microsoft corporate vp Peter Moore recently said Sony's gaming business in Japan is crumbling.

But with the shocking news today that Peter Moore is leaving his Xbox post to head up all of EA Sports, he's suddenly in the seemingly awkward position of having to work directly with the folks at Sony. SCEA couldn't be happier it would seem.

Jack Tretton, President and CEO, Sony Computer Entertainment America provided GameDaily BIZ with the following comment: "We wish Peter the best of luck in his new role at Electronic Arts and look forward to working with him. We have an outstanding relationship with EA and their sports products have been incredibly successful on all our platforms. I am sure this will continue with Peter now at the helm."
