PSP System Update 3.10 Released in Korea

While there hasn't been any word on a release for Japan and North America, Sony has apparently released PSP firmware version 3.10 on the Playstation Korea website. Please note that the update is only for Korean PSPs (PSP-1005K). Does this mean that there's a 3.10 update on the way for the rest of the world or is this a Korea-specific update? Unfortunately I don't have an answer to that question. As for the change log for this update, the best one I've been able to find is a (most likely web) translation posted on PSPUpdates, which I have posted below.

  • It enjoyed PLAYSTATION Network tie frames and the function for was strengthened.
  • NETWORK
    • Function to record MPEG-4 AVC from LocationFree Player. Model LF-PK20 (Japan) or LF-B20 and LF-B10 (United States) LocationFree base stations are required for this.
    • Memory economy function added to Web Browser settings
  • SETTINGS
    • Dynamic normalizer function added in Sound settings.
  • MEMORY ECONOMY
    • When using the Web Browser, it uses less memory. However, picture quality decreases.
  • DYNAMIC VOLUMIZER
    • The volume level for playing music is regulated.
