Europe to get White PSP before the U.S.?

In typical Sony fashion, the U.S. appears to be shunned again - who promotes these marketing folks? -Auri

According to an advertisment in a Spanish PS2 magazine, Europe will soon be receiving the White PSP. Up until now, it has only been available in Japan.

Jeux France reports that the advertisment also mentions that it will be released as soon as May 15th and at a reccomended retail price of 249€. Forking out this amount will get you the value pack. Despite the pictorial evidence, this has yet to be confirmed by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. However, even if the date is slightly circumspect, the eventual release is not an unlikely occurence.

We'll bring you more as it becomes available.

Ratchet & Clank land on PSP

Ratchet & Clank appears to be on its way to PlayStation Portable - and in a fairly advanced state already.

The news comes courtesy of a product page on EBGames.com - not always a reliable guide, but in this case a pretty rounded collection of details including some screenshots.

According to the page, Ratchet & Clank's first PSP outing sees the platforming duo discover the forgotten race of Technomites while on holiday, only to realise the little basts are bent on world domination. Playing as both Ratchet and Clank, you'll take them on, with a Shrink Ray and a customisable armour system amongst other things. The game looks to be upholding the series' usual mixture of platforming and gunnery.
