New Nokia Mobiles Take On Sony PSP
"We think the mobile phone has a huge
advantage over mobile games consoles," said Greg Sautter of Nokia. "You
always have it with you, and it's incredibly convenient. Technically we
think we now have games that are on a par with Sony's PSP as well."
Nokia last week revealed plans to turn millions of mobile phones into
games consoles in a bid to challenge Sony and Microsoft in the
mobile-games market.
The company claims it can rival Sony's PlayStation Portable and
that millions of existing Nokia customers will be able to download the
new games to their phones.
"We already have millions of mobile phones out there, so we are simply adding games to them," said Greg Sautter of Nokia.
"We think the mobile phone has a huge advantage over mobile
games consoles," he said. "You always have it with you, and it's
incredibly convenient. Technically we think we now have games that are
on a par with Sony's PSP as well."
