PSP to Get Sequel to Archer Maclean's Game "Mercury"
One of the most innovative games for PSP (if IGN is to be believed)
is getting a sequel, as Ignition Entertainment is making a sequel to
Archer Maclean's Mercury.
Dubbed Mercury Meltdown, the game is already in development for
Sony's handheld and will be shown behind closed doors at E3. Mercury
Meltdown features a new visual style, twice the number of stages, a
free-look camera and new ways to control your mercury "blob."
Supporting the PSP's continually upgraded WiFi system, Mercury
Meltdown will also support up to two players, offer game sharing
capabilities, customization skins and downloadable content. There will
also be new party-puzzle modes.
No release date was given for Mercury Meltdown, but we expect to learn more at E3.
