Book Review: Hacking the PSP - A book by Auri Rahimzadeh

PSP-Hacks has posted a review of my book, Hacking the PSP! You can find my book on Amazon.com, and at booksellers worldwide, including Barnes & Noble, Borders, Fry's, and many others!

Here's Gary's review:

While chatting in our chat room a while back, I ran into Auri Rahimzadeh, the author of a book on hacking the PSP. I managed to get a hold of a copy for review (thanks!).

If you have ever had a question that isn’t answered in our forums, but don’t want to show off your “noobism”, then this book is perfect for you. It covers many hacks which I had never even heard of before reading this book, such as making a mount to put your PSP in your car, and making an adapter to use other memory formats. It also covers the basics which can be found on the web, such as downgrading your PSP, building a battery pack, and even shows you how to start programming in C/C++!

Reading more reveals even more things this book will teach you: checking your email on the 2.0 web browser, viewing RSS feeds on firmware 2.0, using the Wipeout web browser on 1.5, and even shows the complete insides of your PSP, for all those who want to keep their warranty.
There is even a site which gives free updates to the book online!

If you don’t want to ask in our forums, or on our IRC channel, and can’t find a guide in our hacks section, give this book a try.

You can purchase the book for only $15 here (be sure to check out the 5-star Amazon rating!), and find out more about his books at his site.
