MasterPiece3D and eLoader Battery Trick

A couple of interesting developments are coming out of our Development Forum this weekend. First off, let’s start with MasterPiece3D - you may remember LostJared’s release of the puzzle game MasterPiece which was compatible with 2.01+ PSP’s, well now he’s released a 3D version of the game which works on all firmware versions including 2.01+ using the eLoader. Plus it looks really cool!

Here’s where it gets kind of odd. LostJared, along with his 2.60 testing partner teknogeek1300, have come across a little trick that seems to effect the reliability of programs starting with eLoader on 2.60 firmware. For some unknown reason, removing the battery from the PSP for a few seconds and then putting it back in will help make a homebrew program initialize properly on the first try. You can download a video of this procedure and read more about the procedure below. Go check it out and report your findings.
