Lua 3D Cube Application

Note from Auri: If you don't know Lua, it's time to get studying. If you have a programmable PSP (at the time of this post it was 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0), you can install this easy-to-program and easy-to-learn scripting language that enables you to build great games and even applications without learning C. Here's an example of a new application, originally posted by PSP Updates. You can find more information on Lua Player at www.luaplayer.org. If you need the 2.0 firmware updater mentioned in the book for taking a 1.51-1.52 to 2.0 instead of anything later, and then downgrading it, email me. I hope to have those files on the site soon. Note that I do not in any way condone piracy. If you want to run pirated games instead of homebrew, that's just wrong.

LUA 3D Cube 2 for PSP

3D_Cube_2_1208

Our forum user Alatnet has released LUA 3D Cube 2. LUA 3D Cube 2 is a heavily modified version of the 3D cube that comes with Lua Player. Details:

In this program you can control the cube's movement using the analog stick & sholder buttons.

You can zoom in and out using the dpad up and down.

Displayed on the cube is the x,y,z, and zoom values. If you press X, the stuff displayed on the cube will change to battery info. and back.

You can use this code if you want. This is mostly based off of the 3D cube from lua player.

To use, just place the 3D cube 2 folder in the "ms0:\PSP\GAME\LuaPlayer\A pplications".

Have Fun!

The batt. time is a bit confusing. I still need to fix it up a bit. If the batt. time has 3 digts the first one is hours and the 2nd and 3rd is the time.
example:

Batt. time: 143 Hours

You can download these 4 applications from PSP Updates' PSP download section [here].

You will need Lua Player to run these applications.
